SD Wave Playoff Game

San Diego Wave fans experienced a special treat tonight, as the SE drumline made a guest appearance at the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) semifinals down at Snapdragon Stadium. After hyping up the pregame crowd and taking various photos with the fans, the cool evening air descended upon an electric crowd attired in hot pink, eagerly awaiting the commencement of the game. 

Amidst the excitement of navy EODs jumping out of planes and screaming fans who brought their own drums (we might have to recruit them ), our favorite drumline made their way onto the field to perform a few of their classic numbers. From the first note, the drumline had onlookers digging into their pockets and purses to capture the moment. And the SD Wave fans are truly a different breed - you’ve never seen a friendlier fan base so receptive to our cast, so ready to scream their faces off one moment and strike up a conversation the next.

Of all the exciting things you could be doing on the first evening of daylight savings, being at the NWSL semifinals definitely tops the list - make your way out to be a part of that stadium-encircling wave next time!
