2019 in Review

The 2019 year was huge for Sidle Entertainment! We increased our number of monthly performances, which allowed us to continue to increase our cast to serve more clients. Our portfolio continues to expand based on the type of events we performed at. Below are just a few of the highlights from 2019.

We had a blast performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live in February, 2019 with Lil Pump. Our cast was  able to display our LED lights and rock out as Lil Pump threw down on set. Little did we know that would be our first of 3 performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live in the span of 3 months!

March came around and we were lucky enough to take part in an awesome experience in Dallas, TX. Our cast flew out and locked down all the logistics and performance details at 1 rehearsal before showtime. Being blessed with top talent in Southern California helps make events move seamlessly.

April rolled around and we were asked again to perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live, this time with 2 Chainz. Halfway through the 2chainz set, our cast rolled out laying down the beat full of fancy stick work. Once again our guys were able to rock out and throw down, this time in front of a live audience outside of the Jimmy Kimmel studio.

May was very memorable because our cast joined Jimmy Kimmel Live for a 3rd time, this time partnering with the super talented group, Pentatonix singing Sound of Silence. Traditionally, Pentatonix does not incorporate any instrumentation in their performances, so performing with them was very special to our team. We were able to design customer parts to accompany their beautiful voices and let our lights glow throughout the performance.

The annual NBA awards were held in Los Angeles, CA in June, 2019. Our cast joined talented dancers and the Jabbawockeez on stage for the opening performance with Shaquelle O’neal! Each snare drummer had a hihat attached to their snare drum, which added a nice timbre for the performance. Shaq threw down and it was a memorable way to start the evening.

Once again our cast left our home of Southern California, and flew out to Wisconsin in August, 2019. This was to film a commercial shoot for the Wisconsin Lottery. Our design team wrote custom tracks for the shoot, which included on-site choreography and separate day to record all the music. Our cast had a blast hanging out in Milwaukee to add excitement to the Wisconsin lottery.

Every September means the NFL is up and running again. The Thunderbolt Drumline returned with new swag to throw down for our LA fans. Whether it’s hot or cold, our large cast is ready to bring the energy to each game.

October rolls around and the NHL season starts. Our talented team started performing for the LA Kings, drumming outside, throughout the arena, and even on the ice! We love chanting “Go Kings Go!” to get the home team fans roaring throughout the game.

One of the coolest collaborations in all of 2019 was performing with the infamous Shahkar Binashpoojah at the Microsoft Theater in November, 2019. Shahkar is an incredible performer, full of energy and charisma. Our cast joined him in his songs Tahdid and Iran, as well as performed a special drum solo with Shahkar on drumset! Everybody had a blast and we hope the fans in attendance enjoyed our contributions to the show.
